There're 11 MARUTI car owner's manuals PDF, electric wiring diagrams, error codes DTC.

Maruti 800 lasted on the assembly line with various changes for 31 years.

A total of 2.87 million units were produced, the vast majority of which (2.66 million units) were for the local market.

It was the first truly popular car for India with a modern, front-wheel-drive design.

Huge queues lined up behind him - from the moment of ordering to receiving, buyers had to wait for about three years, which could not help but take advantage of the deals on the black market.

The history of the car dates back to 1982, when a JV was formed between Maruti Udyog and Suzuki Motor.

Initially, it only imported Japanese cars, and in December 1983 local production of the Maruti 800 model started.

It was based on the Suzuki Alto of the first generation (SS30/40).

The initial goal was to bring the level of localization up to 35%.

At the end of 1986, the production of the second generation car began - based on the next generation Suzuli Alto (SB308).

A new 3-cylinder engine with a working volume of 796 cm3 has already appeared here. and with a capacity of 37 hp.

It has a length of only 3335 mm, a width of 1440 mm and a height of 1405 mm.

The curb weight is 650 kg, and the full weight is 1000 kg.

The car received good acceleration dynamics for this class - from 0 to 100 km/h in 14 seconds and a maximum speed of 140 km/h.

The popularity of Maruti 800 was gaining momentum.

By 1988, the plant reached the rate of 100,000 cars per year (together with the Gypsy SUV based on the Suzuki SJ410).

By 1991, the share of local components increased to 65%.

The car began to be supplied for export.

So, the first cars were sent to Hungary back in 1987, followed by the Czech Republic and Yugoslavia.

And in 1989, it entered the market of France, in 1990 - in the Netherlands, later - in Malta, Italy and Great Britain.

Interestingly, in 1992, Maruti appeared in a more modern version for European buyers - with a catalytic converter. All cars for Europe must be equipped with safety belts.
