Volvo is actively investing in eco-technologies. Almost all models of the brand have hybrid versions, and the Volvo XC40 recently received an electric version.

The most advanced models will be produced under the new Polestar sub-brand.

The first was the Volvo Polestar 1 plug-in hybrid.

The new Volvo Polestar 1 is a kind of fashion model, a production version of the conceptual Volvo Coupe.

The appearance is designed in the traditional style of the Swedish brand, although there is not a single Volvo badge on the body (Polestar is positioned as a separate brand with its own logo) and even the radiator grille is not crossed out.

The touring coupe is 4585 mm long and 1935 mm wide with a wheelbase of 2742 mm.

The SPA platform is borrowed from the Volvo V90 and XC90, but with changes.

So, all body parts are made of carbon, which increased the rigidity of the structure by 45%.

But because of the heavy power plant, the car weighs as much as 2350 kg.

Restrained Swedish design prevails in the sedan's interior, and the layout is the same as that of the Volvo S60.

It borrowed a three-spoke steering wheel, and a front panel, and a crystal-encrusted transmission lever.

Unless the finish is richer - along with Nappa leather and aluminum, carbon is also present.

The roof is panoramic, and the pedals are decorated with metal plates.

The instrument panel is a 12.3-inch reconfigurable display.

The data is also projected onto the windshield.
