Features of Pontiac Vibe

There're 13 PONTIAC car service manuals PDF, electric wiring diagrams.

Pontiac Vibe is a compact 5-seater SUV, a joint creation of General Motors and Toyota.

The debut took place at the Detroit Auto Show in 2002. The model received an unusually stylish and fashionable name for the Pontiac brand - Vibe (short for "vibration").

The sporty, athletic features of this car are brought to perfection.

The dynamic look is emphasized by the standard 16-inch light-alloy wheels (17-inch and 18-inch wheels available on request).

Most importantly, the designers managed to preserve the family features of the Pontiac family: the original grille, headlight styling and other little things.

When developing the design, the creators paid special attention to the tail section.

License plates, for example, were decided not to fit into the rear bumper, but into the trunk door.

The interior trim used polished aluminum.

The instrument panel is made in the traditional Pontiac style with “recessed” instrument scales and red illumination of the scales (in the dark).

The use of chrome in the interior trim and instrumentation creates a “modern retro” style, as Pontiac designers themselves call it.

The interior of the Vibe GT, unlike the standard model, is complemented by an artificial leather steering wheel and gear knob trim.

(Interestingly, the Pontiac Vibe doesn't offer the luxury of leather upholstery even as an option.)

The shift lever, whether manual or automatic, is positioned far forward - almost in the dashboard - to create extra legroom.

Pontiac engineers made the interior of this model very flexible and transformable.

The back of the front passenger seat converts into a small table or space for additional luggage.

It can be folded with one movement of the lever.

The rear seats fold forward and "go" into the floor without having to recline the soft cushions first, which is very convenient.

If you fold all the seats, except for the driver's seat, then you can safely place cargo up to 2. 5 meters long in the Vibe.

Among other things, the interior of the car has a lot of hangers, hooks and shelves.

A roof rack is included as standard.

The Vibe load-bearing body, the transverse arrangement of the power unit, the independent suspension of all wheels, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive speak of good driving performance, designed mainly for asphalt roads.
