Volvo is a Swedish brand that produces premium passenger cars and commercial vehicles (construction equipment, buses, trucks).

- Polestar, previously a sports tuning department of the Swedish company that produced Volvo sports modifications, is now a separate sub-brand, and Volvo R is currently responsible for sports modifications;

- Lynk & Co, a Chinese automotive company, a joint venture (Geely Auto with Volvo), Swedish technology in a Chinese way.

A technology center is located in Shanghai (the same in Gothenburg, Lund, and also in Stockholm and on the North American continent in Silicon Valley).
